CSIRO Radio Telescope Laser Scanning
CSIRO engaged Scan Hub to conduct a detailed laser scanning survey of one of the six 22 meter diameter radio telescopes in the Australia Telescope Compact Array near Narrabri NSW. The scanning process of approximately 110 scans involved access to the structure externally on the ground and walkways and internally in the equipment rooms. The image you see here is a cutaway view. Accuracy for structural measurement is 1-2mm.
